This cajun shrimp recipe is so easy to make. It was my standby recipe all summer. Now that it is winter, I haven't made this recipe nearly as much as I was. Cajun shrimp is great to make in the summer because you do not even have to turn on your oven! With the holidays close by, if you are looking for something to make after a long day of shopping you should definitely try cajun shrimp. You can have dinner made (and be done eating/cleaned up) within an hour.

The great part about this cajun shrimp recipe is you can make it as spicy (or not spicy) as you prefer. We like ours a little spicier but you may not, so just add less cajun seasoning. Easy as that!

So, next time you are looking for an easy recipe with a little kick, try cajun shrimp. You won't be sorry. The rice is a perfect pairing because there is enough cajun sauce to drizzle over your rice too. I always try to serve a vegetable and sugar snap peas go well with the cajun shrimp.
