I found this recipe on Pinterest. Big. Surprise. It was to be made in the crock pot. I started out in the crock pot but I quickly switched to a skillet. There are several reasons why I don't like cooking in a crock pot. One, I think the chicken never gets dark enough. I like my chicken to have a crisp outside. Two, I kinda think that all the food I cook in my crock pot tastes the same. Maybe it's just me. I guess I just like to cook in a skillet better.

I love chicken cheesesteaks, you know, the kind you get at the mall food court? When I tried this recipe I was pretty sure I would love it. It really turned out well. I didn't follow much of a recipe. I just added different seasonings as I went. They turned out great. I highly recommend it!

Serves   : 4
Prep   : 10 Minutes
Cook   : 30 Minutes
Preheat Oven   : 

3-4   Boneless chicken breasts, sliced
1   Onion, chopped
2   Green peppers, sliced
1/2 cup   Chicken broth
1/4 cup   Italian dressing
   Seasonings, salt, pepper, meat tenderizer etc
   Mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced

Slice onions and green peppers.
Slice chicken breasts.
Place chicken, onions and green peppers in mixing bowl. Add chicken broth, Italian dressing and any seasonings you prefer. Coat chicken.
Cook chicken on low-medium heat covered until peppers and onions are soft. Continue to cook until liquid is reduced.
Top with mozzarella cheese and serve on a roll.
