Crispy onion chicken is a new recipe for us. It was introduced to me by my friend, Amanda. I made it one time and we loved it...then I forgot about it. After Amanda had us over for dinner and made crispy onion chicken, we remembered how much we liked it. Since then, I have made crispy onion chicken at least two more times.

With only four ingredients, crispy onion chicken is another quick and easy recipe. I love anything that is quick, easy and so delicious! The first time I made this recipe I used a 13x9 dish and the chicken wasn't as crispy. However, I now use a baking sheet and the crispy onion chicken is much crispier.

Crispy onion chicken is full of flavor and simple. In our house, crispy onion chicken is different than most of the meals we have. Introducing a new recipe is always risky but crispy onion chicken is definitely a winner in our house.

Serves   : 4
Prep   : 15 Minutes
Bake   : 20 - 30 Minutes
Preheat Oven   : 350 Degrees

1 pound    boneless chicken breasts, thin
1 large container    French's Fried Onions
2 Tbsp.    flour
1   egg

Gather indgredients, be sure that the boneless chicken breasts are thin sliced or use a meat tenderizer to flatten the chicken breasts.
Put fried onions into plastic bag and add flour. Crush the fried onions and shake bag to be sure the flour is evenly dispersed.
Dip chicken breasts into egg then coat with crushed fried onion/flour mixture.
Place the coated chicken breasts onto a baking sheet, sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes until onions are golden brown and chicken is cooked thoroughly.

The chicken was delish! Adam loved it as he's a big fan of onion rings and it has the same flavor! I'd make it again and again! Thanks!!
